We have many standard tooling sets for tablet and capsule packaging. If one of these does not fully suit customer requirements, our in-house design and engineering capability enables us to produce new bespoke tooling for any blister pack configuration.
Riverside have developed and built ‘narrow web’ blister machines with in-line print/UV cure technology. The tooling for these can be up to 20% of the price of that required for other equipment making new formats an affordable option.
Blister pack materials include PVC/PVdC, Alu-Alu (cold form), PVC and GAG. We offer a number of different thicknesses of hard temper foil lidding and peelable foil laminates.
We will advise the best material selection to protect your product from degradation by moisture, oxygen or light for the duration of its shelf-life.
Prior to packaging, product is ether refrigerated/frozen or stored in a temperature-controlled cell, depending on product stability requirements.
All our production takes place in a controlled environment operating 24/5, employing rigorous GMP standards.
Working with established partners, we offer a cost effective and creative secondary packaging service to fully protect and present your product. This includes multi-colour carton or sleeve design, a selection of varnish finishes and full traceability with batch, BBE and coding overprinting.
With over 40 years’ experience, quality is ingrained in our culture. (We are accredited to ISO 13485:2016). We have a comprehensive pack validation process and all outputted blisters are 100% inspected.
